Nowadays, almost every fine artists and craftsmen in Malaysia uses the word 'contemporary art' to describe their artworks. Sure, 'contemporary' is a pretty sweet candy, like a fondant topping on top of a regular looking cake, used to attract possible buyers and admirers.
